By determination of the Federal Law No. 8.069/90 (Statute of the Child and Adolescent) and the State Law No. 10.258/2017 (Provides for the obligation of hotel establishments to identify children and adolescents hosted), the lodging of children under 18 years may only be performed if accompanied by their parents or duly authorized guardian. In addition, all children or teenagers are required to present their birth certificate or official photo identification document at the time of check-in. Without the proper identification of the parents or legal guardian of the child or adolescent and, when applicable, without the authorization of the lodging (issued by a parent and notarized), it is impossible to stay in the hotel, and may be charged the contractual liens for non-attendance.
